In May 2026, it was a pleasure to be invited by Motiva to attend the ABR Preceptorship with Dr Tejerina. I spent a fascinating two days learning novel reconstruction techniques using implants and look forward to incorporating this into my practice. Thank you Dr Tejerina for your warm welcome and skills teaching.
Mentor kindly invited me to their annual symposium, which has been designed as an interactive platform where expert faculty introduced new perspectives, shared best practices and engaged with us through debates and case discussions. I enjoyed strategies for planning, complex cases and managing revisions and complications. Thank you to Mentor for this opportunity.
In February 2024, myself and fellow breast surgeon Miss Fiona Tsang-Wright from High Wycombe hosted a two-day residential course in Missenden Abbey, aimed at preparing senior trainees for their future role as a new consultant. An exciting faculty of managers, radiologists, procurement, anaesthetists and surgical colleagues joined together on the day for stimulating talks and team exercises.
January 2024 brought the exciting annual Oxford Oncoplastic Skills Course (OOPS) hosted by good friend and colleague Professor PG Roy at the Said Business School. This two-day course taught delegates in the valuable advanced surgical skills needed for breast conservation and breast reduction surgery.
